Gast Architects Unveils New Office

Gast Architects announced their move into a new studio space on the top floor of San Francisco’s latest LEED Gold commercial building – a renovated historic warehouse at 355 11th Street in the South of Market neighborhood.

Gast Architects designed their office interior with a commitment to creating a space that nurtures creative and progressive design with a focus on sustainable materials and eco-friendly strategies. The new office features FSC certified Richlite work surfaces and Europly panels to match revitalized cabinets and bookcases, strand bamboo floors, daylighting controls, and low V.O.C finishes. Locally made recycled aluminum frame desks and shelving systems are modular, expandable, and aesthetically reinforce the feeling of an open studio.

The Gast Architects office will be showcased as part of the new LEED certified building designed by Aidlin Darling for Matarozzi Pelsinger Builders during the 2008 San Francisco Living: Home Tours Weekend on September 13-14.
